Q: Why Change A Meal?

A: At 5'5" tall and more than 200 pounds, Gloria remembers seeing herself in a photo and realizing something needed to change. Unhappy with her health and nutrition, she vowed to be in the best shape of her life for her upcoming 40th birthday. She began focusing on her nutrition and started a running routine. She lost 40 pounds but hit a plateau that lasted almost a year. A: Gloria’s 2016 New Year’s resolution is to complete her first mini marathon with her oldest son by her side. She wants people to know: if she can do it, anyone can do it.

Gloria is happy, healthy and going strong, considering herself a “work in progress.” Her current goals are around maintaining her weight and developing a leaner, more toned physique. She’s proud how her decisions have led to a healthier lifestyle for her husband and two teenage sons as well, and she wants to inspire others to be healthier and more active, too.
