Purposeful Pairings: 3 Avocado Recipes To Try Now

Veggie Avocado Pineapple Smoothie

Experience the green goodness of the all-new Veggie Avocado Pineapple Smoothie at your local Smoothie King or right in the comfort of your own kitchen.


  • ½ Cup Almond Milk
  • 2 Cups Diced Pineapple
  • ⅓ Cup Diced Avocado
  • ½ Cup Loosely-Packed Kale
  • ¼ Cup Diced Carrot
  • 1 TBSP Honey
  • 1 Scoop Vanilla Gladiator
  • 1 Cup Ice


Blend all ingredients. Pour in a glass. Serve and enjoy!

2-Ingredient Face Mask

Enjoy the taste of your greens and apply them to your skin, too! This edible DIY avocado and honey mask is easy, and perfect for an anytime skin refresher.


  • ½ Avocado
  • 2 TBSP Honey


  1. Mash and mix all the ingredients in a small bowl, and apply to your face. Be careful not to get any product in your eyes.
  2. Allow mixture to sit on your face for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove the mask with lukewarm water.
  4. Follow-up with a toner or moisturizer of your choice.

Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Have your dessert with the benefits of an avocado, too!


  • ¼ cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 avocados, peeled and pitted
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ½ tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • Fresh strawberries, for garnish


  1. Place the chocolate chips in a small bowl. Place over a small saucepan of simmering water. Stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth, about 3 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Pour heavy cream into a bowl, whip with hand mixer until medium peaks are formed. Set aside.
  3. Place the avocados, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla and melted chocolate in a bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Blend whipped cream into chocolate mixture.
  5. Spoon into glasses and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Garnish with fresh strawberries and serve.

Yield: 2 servings.
